Organizing Life Wheel

Remember my previous article about a Balanced Life? If you don’t, then you can read it here. This article is the continuation of that one.

After we do an analysis on the pattern of our Life Wheels, think about it, are we happy with the way it looks? If you’re not happy yet, let’s read more about it in this article.

Since it is a wheel, the shape of a Life Wheel is ideally round. If it’s not yet round, then of course there are things that we need to develop.

One thing that needs to be developed is the part with the smallest score. In order to do that, you can read the following:

First, Pay Attention to the Part with the Lowest Score

It is important that we know which part of our lives that need to be developed. For example, we have a low score in Family part. So, this is the part that we will have to improve.

Second is Focus in Improving the Part with the Lowest Score.

We need to make a plan of action, make a list of what are the things we need to do to improve the score.

Previously, I have given you the example of the Family part. To improve this part, we could try to find more time to spend with our partner and children, plan a holiday together, find quality time to discuss about the future, be more caring towards our family, plan a birthday together, etc.

This is where we need to make plans and timeline of when are we going to complete it. Remember, a plan without execution is nothing but empty talks.

Third, Maintain the Parts that already have Good Score

Many of us are too focus to improve one part of the wheel that we’re lacking in other parts, causing the score to go down.

Our job and our challenge are to maintain or even better, to improve the scores that are already good.

The key is simple: time management and good priority. I’m sure you can do it!

Fourth, Do Analysis at least once every 3 Months

This is the most important step. You have to analyze the development that you have achieved. By analyzing, you will be more focus in achieving your next goal.

It is time for all of us to be able to develop our Life Wheels.
