Nathan,
When you hold my hands, I just realize how big your hands are. It feels like yesterday when I remember your tiny little hands trying to reach me from your crib and those smile never fail to brighten my day each morning. Fourteen years has passed and now you grow up to be a handsome young man.
Sometimes I like to question myself what I have done over these fourteen years with you. Have I taught you the value of life? They said the golden years for children to be taught are between six to eight years old. Have I used those valuable times to put some foundation to my children in my hectic schedule? Am I a good mom in my children’s eyes?
I find parenting is difficult part of my life. Trying to be a role model to your children isn’t an easy road. We must be consistent in our teaching as well as our action because children are our reflection.
I am honored to be the one who saw your first step, hear your first words and so many other things I have watched over you that was just a surprise to me. Now you are 15 years old and I realize you have become more mature and independent, especially after you came back from UK.
I know you that you will go far in this life and you deserve the best this world can give you. I thank Lord for having you in my life and I love you.
Happy Birthday Son….
