It is important to remember these low calory food, especially for those who have diabetes, heart condition, high blood pressure and other diseases. Excess calories will result in various health problems, the followings are some problems that you may encounter if you consume calories in excess: Diabetes, Heart condition, Alzheimer, Osteoporosis, Obesity, Brain tissue damages, Stroke.
But don’t get me wrong, lack of calories may result in having weak immunity system which can make you sick easily. So, arranging a good diet plan is one of the best way to prevent accumulation of calories in your body.
In an outline, we can divide the food that we consume to 4 types, these are the sources of calories within the body, they are:
- Vegetables (Low calory)
- Fruits (Medium calory)
- Meat (High calory)
- General food (rice, snacks, and other food) (not recommended because the calory level is very high)
There is nothing wrong for us to know more about the low calory food that we can consume in abundant for our daily diet.
List of Low Calory Vegetables (sort from the lowest to the highest):
Salad, Celery, Pumpkin, Japanese Cucumber, Asparagus, Spinach, Egg Plant, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Paprika, Radish, Broccoli, Mushroom, Onion, Carrott, Kale, Peas.
List of Low Calory Fruits
Tomato, Lemon, Watermelon, Strawberry, Grapefruit, Berries, Cantaloupe, Melon, Mushroom, Peach, Papaya, Bit, Blackberry, Orange, Apple, Blueberries, Kiwi, Cherry, Guava, Grape, Avocado.
List of Low Calory Meat
Chicken breast, Tuna Fish, Salmon Fish, Beef heart, Venison, Veal, Rabbit, Beef (Full), Turkey, Beef liver, Goat (Full meat), Pork liver, Duck, Goose.
Tips for Low Calory Food Consumption
Now that you have information on the 3 types of food such as meat, vegetables, and fruits, there are other tips to avoid increament of calories in those food.
- Do not fry
- Do not roast
- Steam or boil are highly suggested.
- Avoid all types of Seafood (Seafood contains very high calories)
- Avoid white rice, snacks and bicuits.
Suggestions:
In average, vegetables are food with very low calory content.
After vegetables, I recommend you to consume fruits. The calory content in fruits mostly are not made from fat.
For meat, it is better if you minimize the consumption since the calory within the meat are mostly come from fat. So it is very dangerous.
Most low calory food can be categorized as potential weight reduction food. They do not have high content of calory which may increase the chance of obesity.
