Does Lifting Heavy Make You Bulky?

When I started going to the gym, a lot of people said that I shouldn’t lift weight, else I would have bulky muscles. Now, that myth is probably not 100% true.

I will tell you what’s true. If you are also a female like I am, then lifting weight will not build your muscle like when men did.

Women don’t have the hormone, unlike men, to form that kind of muscle. Even if muscles were to form, it would require a very good nutrition intake and extraordinary exercise.

What we need to avoid is the use of steroid. Steroid is very dangerous for our body. There are people who are obsessed to build their muscle immediately that they use steroid. They don’t realize the danger of that substance in the long run.

What really happens when we Lifting Heavy?

Weight lifting, especially for women, will not immediately form the muscles. Weight lifting is really good to help burning fat in our body. Weight lifting is also an excellent way to reduce our body weight back into our ideal weight.

Building muscles would require a very intensive weight lifting in a proper way. It also relies on our daily intake of protein. All these things will help in building muscles.

Of course the weight lifting exercises for people who wants to lose weight and those who wants to be an athlete (or body builder) are different.

So, it’s no need for you to be afraid that your body will look like a body builder because in order to be one, it will take an extraordinary amount of practice. Natural weight lifting will only help us to be slim and get an ideal weight.

Consult our training program with people with adequate expertise in this matter (you’re your personal trainer for example).
