Some people said time flies; well I should say I agree with the statement because that’s how I feel in last two or three months doing my healthy living. I can’t believe it’s been six months and I enjoy the way I become now.
It’s been an interesting journey when I looked back to the time I started my goal and set up my target. My simple goal was to live a healthy life by doing exercises with a target to reduce body fat and weight in six months time. Even it sounds simple, but in doing so, it requires determination, commitment and consistency.
As I have shared my thought in “Mid of My Journey” few months back, at that point, I felt like giving up. Six months seemed too long and not sure if I’d be able to reach my goal. You couldn’t see clearly the end of the tunnel when you’re in the process but I learned that was ‘the price’ to pay in order to achieve something in life.
After all is done, people can see changes on my body which quite extreme to some people, but honestly I am not fully satisfied because I still have some fat left around tummy area. Frankly said, it’s the difficult part to any women in the world especially above 40 years old. Thus I can conclude that I only reach 85%-90% of my target within six months. You might ask whether I feel bad with this end result, well… honestly I don’t, because this means my journey still continue and healthy living should become healthy lifestyle now. This statement clearly works for me……“Don’t wish for a perfect body but we have to work for it”
Being in a good shape can boost your stamina as well as self-confident. I feel healthy inside because my body absorb good nutrition from my diet and fresh outside as a reflection to my healthy living. So I’d like to encourage to all women at my age that it is still possible to have good shape by doing healthy dietary, discipline in exercise and enough sleep. There is no age limitation in doing this and with commitment and consistency, it will help you to achieve the goal….”Don’t stop when you’re tired but stop when you’re done”
Last but not least, I would like to share my gratitude toward my loyal supporters especially to my lovely family, Dr. Grace Judio-Kahl, MSc, MH, CHt , my trainer Farid Ansori, Lia and Adrian (my team). Not to forget all friends and followers who gave support and feedback during this journey. I love you all.
As my journey continues, so does my blog. Stay tune for more interesting activities to come and some life inspiration too. See you soon….
